The Fourth Board Meeting was held on 18 January 2026 at 5:30 PM at the residence of PE Sangita Gulati. Members present were Sangita Gulati, Sadhana Agarwal, Jayshree Sanghvi, Meena Khemka, Vidhi Beri, Vikram Tantia, Vineet Bagaria, and Meena Bansal. The meeting began with a financial review by Treasurer Vikram Tantia, comparing actual and projected expenses for the first six months. The Board noted that the club is financially stable. Ongoing and proposed projects including solar lights, a toilet project, and a tubewell initiative were discussed. The handloom and weaving project at Goramara were approved. Foundation contribution for 2025–26 was finalized. Member participation and growth were reviewed. Upcoming DG and AG visits were noted. The Charter Celebration was tentatively fixed for 29 March 2026.

At 9:00 am, I called to order the 980th meeting and welcomed everyone to the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Rotary Club of Calcutta. We reviewed our year’s projects and shared plans for the next six months, including starting a new batch at RCV Extension, installing solar street lights in 10–15 villages, and continuing health camps across our RCCs. The audited accounts for 2024–25 for both the Trust and the Club were presented and approved, along with the reappointment of Kothari & Associates as auditors. PE Sangita shared her board and vision. A short interactive fellowship game followed. Secretary announcements concluded the meeting.

Recent project updates include the Joynagar mobile eye clinic visits, solar panel installation at Ghoramara, donation of blankets and mosquito nets, Clubfoot USK, pediatric heart surgery for Repon Samanta, RCV Uluberia Talent Show, and the Wear & Share fundraiser. Nita Sethia introduces and inducts new member Gaurav Bajoria. Neeraj Kanoria introduces speaker Dr. Shruti Nada Poddar, followed by a token of appreciation and a Nada Vibronics workshop. Vote of thanks by Shivani Kariwal. Secretary announces upcoming events: cervical cancer vaccination on 17th, thalassemia camp at India Valley School on 19th, cervical cancer awareness and solar lights at Amtalla on 21st, and AGM on 6th December. Upcoming events include: Charity Bowl on 13th Sept, cervical cancer and health camp at Joynagar (6th), USK camp in MSS (7th), Eye Donation Awareness drive at Amoragori (7th), rural camp at Amoragori RCC (9th), nutrition workshop at Teach for India Daffodils (11th), club foot visit to Shambhunath Pandit (17th), and BDMI school green drive (19th).
